The service interval indicator in the display of your smart car informs you of the date of the next scheduled service or just before you reach the mileage limit of 12,500 miles before a service is required. When you start the engine, this information is shown in miles (m) or days for approximately 10 seconds, depending on the mileage reading. The two types of service level, interim service and full service, should be carried out at alternating intervals. The display symbols shown on the left will let you know which service level is now due.

You can now fix the price of parts and labour for up to four services by choosing a smart ServiceCare plan. This way, you’ll be able to budget for your smart’s regular service at a set price, even if inflation increases. Regardless of age, all smart fortwo, roadster and forfour models can enjoy smart ServiceCare plans, with two, three or four services spread over 12, 24,36, or 48 months.
