     Driver-focused cockpit The vehicle’s sporty exterior aesthetics continue inside, most notably with a cockpit replete with circular motifs and fitted with a smoothly sculpted dashboard, upon which is housed a 12.8-inch touchscreen. The driver is provided with a 9.2-inch digital instrument display too, which sits neatly behind the steering wheel. Also featured is a 13-speaker Beats sound system that delivers a wide range of audio entertainment options.
    Alloy wheels The Smart #3 rides on standard-issue alloy wheels that further enhance what is already a striking profile. They’re not just there to look good, however; their lightweight yet hard-wearing design plays a significant role in the car’s all-around efficiency.
    All-electric powertrain The new Smart #3’s 100% electric drivetrain is equipped with a single motor that’s powered by a 66kWh battery. This produces 268bhp and delivers a maximum range of approximately 300 miles, which is significantly above the EV average – more than is offered by, say, the Citroën e-C4’s 260-mile range. A peak charging speed of 150kW ensures the battery undergoes a 10% to 80% top-up in approximately half an hour.
    Fascinating front fascia Boomerang-style CyberSparks LED headlights are linked by a slim strip of light. This in turn separates the bonnet from the lower portion of the front fascia which includes an A-shaped grille, a prominent bumper and expansive air intakes.
