Our approach to research

Are we a match?

Just as much as we want to make sure you are the right person for the role, you need to make sure that LSH Auto is the right employer for you.

We are looking for people who are passionate and enthusiastic about creating value and providing leading services to our customers. We look for people who are self-motivated with passion, energy and a desire to both achieve and develop.

Does this sound like you? Then we could be the right match for you.

Finding the right person for the right position

Each recruitment will differ depending on the role you are applying for and the business area or function you are interested in. However, what all our recruitments have in common is that we will do our utmost to create a positive and seamless experience for you.

Application and CV

We do our best to create advertisements which provide you with good insight into the specific role as well as the required competencies and experiences.

When you apply, please upload your CV and a cover letter supporting your application should you wish to do so.

The screening process

In the initial screening process, we evaluate your CV and any other supporting documents you have submitted. We look at your employment and career path patterns, education, extracurricular activities, accomplishments, results etc. Most importantly, we need to be able to assess whether the job matches your personal and professional qualifications. Furthermore, we need to be able to get a sense of you as a person before selecting the right candidates, who will progress to the interview stage. All applications we receive are handled with respect and in strict confidence.

If you are not invited to an interview, we will let you know by email.

The purpose of the interview is for us to learn more about your profile, competencies, skills, motivation and values. For you, this is an opportunity to ask questions and find the answers to your burning questions - would you thrive in this role, team and culture?

You will normally attend 1-2 interviews, during which you will meet your potential future leader and/or a colleague from our human resources department.

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are offering virtual interviews for many of our opportunities as well as face to face interviews where possible. Please go to the Candidate Support section for further information and helpful tips on how to prepare for your interview.

Work-related tests

We evaluate based on skills, competencies and cultural fit. For some positions, we will also ask you – as part of the evaluation – to complete a job-related assessment, for example ability tests.

If you are asked to partake in an evaluation of this kind, you will always receive feedback on your test results. All assessments and tests are carried out by our skilled and qualified HR professionals.

Assessment and feedback

We aim to provide feedback on your application as soon as we can, while making sure we give every candidate the time and attention needed to make a fair evaluation.

If you have attended an interview, but will not be offered the job, you will be contacted by the recruiter directly.

If you have been chosen for the job, we often collect references from previous employments which support the information you have presented to us. This is one of the last steps in the recruitment process and only takes place by agreement with you. We do not contact present or former employers before obtaining your consent.

On completion of interviews and assessments, we perform background checks on the final candidates. You will be asked to give your consent to these at the beginning of the recruitment process.

The next steps

If we offer you the job, you will be contacted by either your new manager or a recruiter who will present the job offer as well as terms and conditions to you. Most often, we will have touched upon the terms earlier in the process, so you are aware. Soon after that we will send you the contract.

After the contract is signed, you will receive all relevant induction guidance before your first day at work.
