LSH Auto has been announced as the official sponsor of The Drivetime Show on Happy Radio UK; the Brand New Feel-Good Radio Station launching for South Manchester & Cheshire.

Mercedes Benz of Stockport, Macclesfield and Whitefield, part of LSH Auto, have been announced as the official sponsor of The Drivetime Show presented by Ian Roberts & Michelle Eagleton.

LSH Auto, part of the world’s largest premium automobile dealer groups, has teamed up with the new local radio station which focuses on providing great local radio to the region, with local content and a presenter line up of well known radio DJs, playing the music that makes you feel good!

Happy Radio’s Drivetime show will be presented by former Rock FM & Magic Radio DJ, Ian Roberts, who will be on air alongside Showbiz TV & Radio Presenter, Michelle Eagleton. The duo will be on air Monday to Friday from 4-7pm giving listeners just what they need at the end of the day with a mix of fantastic music, local news and fun content!

Happy Radio UK is available across multiple platforms and has been created by local residents, Radio DJ Darren Proctor & Festival Organiser Max Eden, with the aim of bringing back local radio to the area and being active within the community with lots of outside broadcasts, events and engaging content planned.

The presenter line up for Happy Radio UK features some of the most-loved Radio Presenters & TV Stars from across the region. The line up includes former Piccadilly Radio & Key 103 presenters, Reality TV personalities & acclaimed journalists from the local area.

Happy Radio UK’s line up is headed up by Co-owner and former Greatest Hits Radio Presenter, Darren Proctor who will be presenting the weekday mid morning show from 10am – 1pm.

Darren Proctor has been in Radio for over 25 years having previously presented on Key 103, Radio City & Smash Hits Radio , presenting both locally and nationally on several key chart shows including the Pepsi Chart Show which was networked on over 117 radio stations across the Country.

The Line Up includes Piccadilly Radio Legend; Steve Penk who will return to the airwaves with a brand new weekday show on Happy Radio from 1pm-3pm which will include the highly-anticipated homecoming of the famous Penk Wind Ups which the presenter became most famous for in Manchester.

Former Key 103 Star, Chelsea Norris returns to Radio with a brand new weekend show on Happy Radio UK every Saturday morning from 10-12 noon following her departure from BBC Radio Manchester last year. Chelsea who comes from Stockport, presented the Breakfast show with Mike Toolan on Key 103 for over 11 years returns with her own radio show.

Happy Radio also brings back one of Manchester’s most loved and established breakfast hosts; Spence MacDonald who returns with an exciting new Breakfast show, waking up listeners every weekday from 7-10am.

The line up also features Reality TV Star; Lauren Simon who is best know for being one of the Real Housewives of Cheshire on the Hit TV show, Simon will be bringing her own unique personality to the airwaves, playing a selection of her favourite feel good songs weekdays from 3-4pm.

The new radio station; Happy Radio UK will be broadcasting across multiple platforms from April 4^th onwards; across online streaming, on your Smart Speaker and on a brand new Happy Radio UK App which is available on both iOS and Android. The radio station will also be available on DAB across the region later in the year.
