HOW MOTABILITY WORKS

You can lease a brand new vehicle through Motability every three years by exchanging it for part or all of a qualifying mobility allowance. If you receive one of the following, you could be eligible for the Scheme:

• Enhanced rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
• Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

Once you’ve chosen your Mercedes-Benz, smart or BYD car, you can specify any adaptations you may require. These include accessibility, driving, and stowage solutions. Our Motability specialists will then help you complete your application and order your vehicle. We’ll let you know when it’s ready to collect.

During ownership, we’ll carry out all necessary aftercare too, providing servicing and repairs - many of which come at no extra cost. That leaves you to simply enjoy the independence your vehicle brings.
