Mercedes-Benz Open Championship at Whitefield Golf Club

Mercedes-Benz of Whitefield raise £1,000 for the MS society at their annual Mercedes-Benz Open Championship at Whitefield Golf Club.

Mercedes-Benz of Whitefield held their Mercedes-Benz Open Championship at Whitefield Golf Club on Friday 13th September 2019.

Whereby we invited all our golfing customers to enter our golf day. There were lots of competitions throughout the day including nearest the pin on the 9th hole to Win a week in GLC63, nearest the line on the 15th to Win a convertible for weekend and vouchers to spend in Whitefield’s pro golf shop.

We had an excellent turnout with over 80 people attending the day.

We wanted to celebrate our partnership with Whitefield Golf Club by raising as much money as possible for the Multiple Sclerosis Society which is a charity which is close to their hearts as it effects one of their staff. To raise this money, we auctioned off a number of high profile signed football shirts, a Mercedes-Benz Golf Bag and held a raffle with an array of Mercedes-Benz merchandise.

We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped us achieve £1,000 for the charity which was a phenomenal amount of money for a great cause.

Chris Bibby - PGA Golf Professional commented:

"Personally, as a MS Sufferer I want to thank Mercedes-Benz of Whitefield for choosing the @mssocietyuk as their charity I believe it is around £1000 raised."

Stefan Bowett Mercedes-Benz of Whitefield Dealer Principal Commented:

"It was an absolute pleasure to host this year’s annual Mercedes Benz of Whitefield golf trophy. The purpose of the day was to engage our current Mercedes Benz of Whitefield Customers in this lifestyle event and give them the opportunity to take advantage of the great partnership formed with Whitefield golf club. On the day we also raised over £1000 for the MS society which is an organisation doing great work with people that suffer from such a terrible disease. We took great strength from the golf pro Chris Bibby and his shared stories and experiences and thought, this is a cause we can all support."

The feedback I have had form the day has been exceptional and as a result we will look to do something similar in 2020 so watch this space. I would like to thank everyone that attended for their generosity and support, I would also like to thank my team who worked tirelessly to make sure they day went smoothly and finally Whitefield golf club for their help organising and facilitating the day.

This will be an event that I look forward to replicating in 2020 and I look forward to seeing more of our current clients on the course.

Thank you for all your support and I hoped you all had a great day.
