Former Lioness captain, and I’m a Celebrity winner, Jill Scott, performed the big Christmas Lights switch on atMercedes-Benz of Stockport this week.
LSH Auto’s flagship showroom was transformed into a winter wonderland and welcomed visitors to its ‘Driving Home for Christmas’ event on Thursday 30th November.
Stefan Bowett, Dealer Principal of Mercedes-Benz of Stockport, said: “We enjoyed welcoming visitors to our event on Thursday along with the reigning Queen of the Jungle. Jill has been a regular customer of ours since 2015 and this year became an official ambassador for LSH Auto, so it was only right that she had the honour of switching on the Christmas lights.”
The King’s School in Macclesfield Choir performed Christmas carols and visitors indulged in a spot of Christmas shopping from local artisan stall holders showcasing their handmade crafts, gifts and delicious treats.
Contemporary Manchester artist, D Douglas Art displayed some of his colourful animal artwork. Capturing the eyes of our guests with the detail of these incredible pieces.
We also raised money for the Christie Charity to support during this festive season. The local charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Donations from the public make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie provides to patients and their families.
In addition to the Christmas market, festive entertainment was laid on for visitors along with a range of delicious drinks and snacks. Guests enjoyed testing their driving skills out on race simulators, and excited children met Father Christmas in his grotto. The event was a huge success, with something for all the family
