Please note that our two aftersales facilities at Stockport and Erdington will be closed for the Easter period, from Friday 10th April to Monday 13th April.

The servicing elements of our business at Mercedes-Benz of Stockport and Mercedes-Benz of Erdington remain open to support customers who are key workers or need to maintain mobility in line with government guidance.

At both sites, a number of controls, preventative and protective measures are in place to protect our customers and colleagues from the COVID-19 virus.

These include, but are not limited to:

·Maintaining a distance of at least 2 metres from other persons

·Regular hand washing throughout the day

·Disposable gloves are worn and changed regularly

·Only one entrance is available for customers to enter the building

·A notice is displayed on the entrance door advising that we are only open to support key workers and designated support vehicles and will not accept cash payment for any goods or services we supply

·Customers are directed to sanitise their hands on entering the building

·Only one customer is permitted inside the building at a time

·Customers are advised that we only require the key fob, we will not accept a key ring containing other keys

·Colleagues will remain 2-3 metres from customers (and each other) at all times, only collecting and sanitising key fobs from a table once the customer has moved away

·Vehicles will be washed and the interior sanitised before entering the workshop and again before being returned to the customer

·Technicians will work on alternate benches to ensure they remain at least 2-3 metres apart

·Shared workshop tools and equipment will be sanitised by the technicians when collecting them and on their return.

Following further clarification on the latest Government guidance and in order to restrict the spread of coronavirus, our showrooms will remain temporarily closed. We will, however, be opening the servicing elements of our businesses at Mercedes-Benz of Stockport and Mercedes-Benz of Erdington to support customers who are key workers or need to maintain mobility in line with government guidance.

Mercedes-Benz of Stockport will provide support to customers in Manchester and the North West and Mercedes-Benz of Erdington will service customers in Birmingham and the Midlands, providing maintenance for cars and vans supporting the UK infrastructure. All other sites will remain temporarily closed for both sales and aftersales.

The two operational sites will be open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 2pm on Saturday to provide servicing support and essential maintenance for cars and Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles and to supply trade parts to independent garages. Mercedes-Benz of Stockport will also deal with accident and emergency crash repairs.

MOT Appointments.

From the latest Government guidance all vehicle owners will be granted a six-month exemption from MOT testing, enabling them to continue to travel to work where this absolutely cannot be done from home, or shop for necessities, the Government has confirmed.

Finance – Related Queries.

Black Horse Finance.

I am a customer and I have ordered a vehicle but it hasn’t yet been delivered and I don’t want to go ahead?

If the you have not yet taken delivery of the vehicle and the finance agreement has not been executed (signed by you and Black Horse ), you are entitled to withdraw from the finance. You are not obliged to go ahead with the agreement as it has not yet been completed and encourage the you to contact us to discuss your options.

I have recently taken delivery of a vehicle and I want to return it and cancel the finance?

If you have already taken delivery of the vehicle and the agreement has been executed (signed by Black Horse and yourself), we will not be able to cancel this agreement. This agreement is a non-cancellable agreement so they cannot cancel the agreement and return the vehicle. If you are still in the right of withdrawal period, you do have the option to withdraw from the agreement by paying back the amount borrowed plus daily interest but this does not entitle you to return the vehicle. The Motor Operations Customer Service team will be able to explain the right of withdrawal option more fully to the customer.
